After a more than 30-year hiatus, the Western

Logging Historical Society is back.  Started in 1973

by Russ and Terri Simpson, the WLHS--

spearheaded by a monthly newsletter--existed for

approximately ten years before the pressures of

running a family hobby business forced the

Simpsons to cease coordination efforts with the

society.  With the blessings of the Simpson family,

the WLHS has returned, utilizing the templates,

masthead and artwork of the original publication.

Your  Society features a quarterly print-format

newsletter, and sponsors field trip events of interest to those who study western logging.   Additionally, activities from other organizations that are of interest to students of western logging will be posted.  Back issues of the newsletter are available.

We are now in our eighth year.
